Built by an operating technologist.
Our perspective is built from seventeen years inside the systems and platforms that shaped the modern technology economy.
Opus Ridge brings product and engineering judgment to public market investing. The firm's founder spent nearly two decades building and operating large-scale technology — internet-scale distributed systems, web-scale ad tech systems, operating systems — at companies including Microsoft, Google, Tapad, and Meta.
The most consequential market opportunities of the coming decade will be defined by artificial intelligence's transformation of industry, labor, and capital allocation. Evaluating these transformations is a technical exercise as much as a financial one. We believe it rewards practitioners who have shipped the systems that drive them.
We invest with conviction, patience, and a long horizon.
A career of engineering and management experience inside the platforms that define modern computing.
Original research informed by hands-on experience with the technology underlying the companies we evaluate.
Concentrated positions in what we believe are mispriced equities backed by conviction.
